I have always experienced having an interaction with a fellow shopper involving the items in my cart or in my hand, even in my early childhood. It started with shopping with my mother. We would always encounter a shopper that was all too eager to reach down into to one of our carts (yeah... I said one of ....like multiple). We usually did not share a cart because I would have just as much stuff she did-if not more 😉). I then experienced this a few more times by myself and then almost ever time I shopped into my adulthood. It didn't matter what kind of store either. The mall. The outlets. Even the grocery store. I grew more angry and rude while shopping and would go into any type of store with metaphorical armor on...

What was it? Why did it happen? What would truly make another person look down into someone else’s cart of shopping goods and determine that they are not worthy enough to actually purchase that item?

And I know right this has happened to you. Or maybe you’re the person I’m talking about 😏. However, as I am growing into a more aware individual, I choose to view it as my energy , taste, and style are just magnetic to people. I am no longer bothered by it because I know most people I encounter are not actively aware of their impact on their environment such as I. So my shopping mantra for myself and for anyone that may experience this goes as follows: I choose to allow my energy to spread positivity in even the most unexpected experiences.

After reading my post, try the mantra out in a real life situation. I would love to hear your thoughts.
